The grounds are very well kept. It's a visually appealing place (a bit like stepping back in time).
The room was disappointing. The bathroom really needed an update. The shower rail was rusty. Staff seemed short and abrupt, which wasn't ideal.

The hotel building is fine and huge. I couldn't believe how big it was, I wanted to explore it all. The bed was comfortable. The view onto the garden area was beautiful and soothing. I thought it was great value for money.
The breakfast wasn't exactly cheap at £15 per person. My husband said it wasn't great with lack of options for a full english. The coffee was awful and everything was running out quickly and not been replaced quick enough.

The Executive King Suite Non-Smoking included a spacious layout. It featured comfortable furniture and modern amenities and offered quiet space for relaxation after a long day. The room was impeccably clean and well-kept, with a haven of comfort.

The spa facilities were a highlight, offering various treatments and services. The pool was very refreshing. The fitness center has modern equipment and plenty of space for a complete workout. I appreciated the extensive grounds that were perfect for a leisurely stroll.

the grounds were lovely to walk in. the location was excellent for a short drive into town.. the apartment we booked was well provisioned. we have booked again for a summer visit.
i found the spa area to be dirty. the pool was unusable due to children's swimming lessons. the outdoor hot tub had no privacy and was full of dirt. one sauna room was closed.

the gardens looked really nice. it was acceptable.
I found a few issues . the bathroom lacked basic toiletries. the shower temperature was difficult to regulate. It fluctuated between scalding hot and freezing cold. the tv remote was missing. I had to call reception for a replacement.
